Student Equipment List

Due to the constraints we are working within, it is more likely that children will be outdoors even if it is cold or raining.  They should therefore be equipped with a plain, warm and waterproof coat.  They may also need a compact umbrella

Essential items of equipment:

  1. Two writing pens - they must be black or blue  
  2. Pencil and sharpener (or a spare pencil) 
  3. Rubber 
  4. Ruler (with mm and cm) - preferably a 30cm ruler 
  5. Protractor and pair of compasses (used in Maths, Science and Geography) 
  6. A small selection of colouring pencils 
  7. Scientific Calculator - Casio FX-83GTX recommended  
  8. Glue stick
  9. A pair of scissors 
  10.  Highlighter pens
  11. Mini Whiteboard – These are used in most lessons (no bigger than A4, these can be made simply at home with a piece of plain or coloured card placed in a plastic wallet or clear pencil case. Alternatively, they can be purchased from Tesco, Amazon or Wilko for around £2)
  12.  Whiteboard pens 
  13.  Black fine liner pen for DT
  14.  Apron for Food/DT/Art  
  15. Headphones (with a 3.5mm jack) for Music 

Desirable but not essential items:

  1.  A wristwatch
  2. Notepad – a small (A5) notebook for rough work
  3.  USB lead for camera (for GCSE Art Photography students)
