Testbourne Community School, an 11-16 comprehensive school with an extremely able cohort, is an Outstanding School (Ofsted 2010) that provides a forward thinking, outward looking and vibrant learning environment. Teacher of Humanities

Although this post has arisen due to a vacancy in our History team, we are interested in applications from excellent RE or Geography teachers who are able to teach some KS3 History. This post is suitable for either an experienced teacher or an ECT seeking to start their career in a caring and supportive team with expertise in training and development. Examination Invigilator

HOURS: Casual, £10.78 per hour DEADLINE 24 Jan 2022

We are looking to recruit reliable and trustworthy exams invigilators to support the Examinations Officer. You will need to work flexibly according to the examinations timetable throughout the academic year. As an invigilator you will be required to support the examination processes. You must follow the required guidelines and regulations for the integrity and security of examinations and procedures during invigilation.

Community Manager

HOURS: 25 per week, Permanent, 52 week contract DEADLINE 24 Jan 2022

We are seeking to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic and highly organised Community Manager. Reporting directly to the Business Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery, co-ordination, and management of the community provision, including the day-to-day operation of the community department and gym. Your role will be to generate income from school lettings and develop opportunities and facilities which serve the wider community as well as the school community.

PA to Headteacher

We are seeking to appoint a Personal Assistant to the Headteacher to join our dedicated team. You will be joining a busy secondary school and will play a key role in overseeing office systems and administration across the school. The successful candidate will work directly with the Headteacher, often dealing with highly sensitive and confidential issues. You will also provide line management for some administration staff.

Site Assistant

We are looking to appoint a Site Assistant to join our excellent site team, providing a caretaking, maintenance and repair, cleaning, and porterage service to meet the needs of the school. The postholder will ensure the highest standard of operational effectiveness and cleanliness, as well as compliance with all relevant health and safety requirements.

Assistant SENDCo / Higher Level Teaching Assistant

HOURS: 37 per week, TTO plus two additional weeks DEADLINE 26 Jan 2022

This is an exciting opportunity for skilled and dedicated Assistant SENDCo/Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support our teaching staff and our SEND pupils. An experienced HLTA in a secondary school or equivalent, you will have responsibility for the day-to-day running of our SEND department and for line managing staff. You will work alongside our SENDCo to develop the department and effectively meet the needs of our pupils. You will have a relevant professional qualification and, ideally, be educated to degree level.
