King Coronation Picnic

In celebration of the coronation of King Charles III, Testbourne had a number of events planned!

All staff and students were cordially invited to attend the Royal Coronation Picnic on the school field (however, due to the typical British weather, we moved it to the playground) and the canteen also offered a special ‘Royal Grab and Go’ picnic bag during lunchtime.
Students showcased their baking skills by making a coronation themed cake that, after the judging has took place, students collected and shared it with their friends at the Royal Coronation Picnic! Well done to Lacey Hardy-Farmer for winning our the contest! She has won a Testbourne King Coronation commemorative mug! Congratulations! And thank you all who entered took their time and baked a cake for the competition.

Finally, tutors had a competition to design a ‘Royal Artifact’ to commemorate King Charles’ coronation. Well done to Mr Rall's tutor, 8~1, and their amazing Royal Beacon.

We had a blast listening to top British hits, as well as having sandwiches and scones provided by our canteen. It was a wonderful event and we thank everyone who helped and took part!
